Now it looks like the Brexit referendum will happen "soon" - has anyone gone through the process of getting a Belgian passport.
I've been putting it off, but now I must take the plunge and apply.
Any good approach to the process?

The reasons I want the dual status are simple. My wife and kids are Belgian. I own my home here. My business is here. If the UK leaves the EU, there's a very high probability things will become harder for Brits administratively (why wouldn't Brits have to get work permits? Why would they get social benefits etc?)
I'll go along to the commune - it seems to be the consensus.
