Belgian UPS is not ringing the bells
Question
This has happened many times so I find it necessary to write it here. We pay fro fast delivery by UPS and then they are dropping a paper slip in post boxes instead of ringing the bells. Both my husband and me were at home when they say they claim the parcel. On top of that, I was at home all day. I could hear. This company is cheating a lot. If it goes on like this they may loose their market safer in Belgium.
BXL....kasseistamper has already hit the nail on the head with his (her?) explanation. These delivery rounds are often very high pressure with absolutely no time to waste. You might have been 20 seconds, but how long has he already wasted waiting for doors to open that are never answered? It's not an easy job.
Post NL service is the worst in our recent experience. My wife's order was twice not delivered and finally they informed it was lost. She was staying home whole day. Even though we have a concierge in the Apartment & we put a message on the box they never pushed that bell. Obviously they also never called our phone. We hope no company uses them ever to deliver parcels in Belgium.
