Eric’s Garden: Too busy to do it yourself

Overijse-based Eric’s Garden is a long-established local business serving clients south of Brussels.

Founded by Eric (pictured above) in 1997, he and his team specialise in all-year-round garden maintenance services.

Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, borders, weeding flower beds, scarification, fertilizers… “We offer a full and personalised service following the need of the client,” underlines Eric.

Fluent in English, Dutch and French, the green-fingered specialist is proud of his company’s professional and reliable service and close relationship with clients.

“It’s our philosophy to take care of people’s gardens so that they make the most of their outdoor space and ensure the garden looks great all year round,” he says.

The company boasts a large supply of regularly-maintained and quality professional equipment for best results. Highly appreciated by clients is the removal of garden waste.

So how exactly does a maintenance contract work? After an initial appointment with the client, Eric defines the planning and the budget. After approval, the customer is set in their agendas and they can start work. Each morning, Eric briefs his team about their day’s work. They report back in the evening on their progress and pass on any requests from clients. 

“I have very good communications with the team as well as clients, which is essential to make sure everything runs smoothly,” he says.

Eric enjoys joining the team and checking work in progress on site. “Customers appreciate very much our reliability. Knowing we will be there so that they can fully enjoy their terrace and their garden.”

The areas covered by Eric’s Garden include Overijse, Tervuren, Waterloo, Sint-Genesius-Rode, Hoeilaart, Auderghem, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert and Woluwe Saint-Pierre.

Meanwhile, Eric has long been involved in the international community and his company supports a range of local initiatives, from the Community Help Service (CHS) in Brussels to BLOC musical theatre and Relay for Life.
