Zaventem flight paths

I have just moved to Braine L'alleud and yesterday (3-26-12) noticed abnormal flight activity above the community. I've read some about the 02 piste and the problems it's causing through communities south of brussels...I had never even considered that this would be a problem when I moved into my house as I don't live near the airport. What is the situation with this? Supposedly, this flight path is only used with the wind is northeast and above 7 knots. Is that true? What is being done about this...surely there are many people complaining in these communities? Thank you...any feedback on this matter is greatly appreciatedas the idea of having unkowingly moved "into a flight path" cuases me great concern.
