Visa Card / Master card
There are lots of cards available in the Belgian market, however, until you have some proof of earnings, and cash in your bank account, it's highly unlikely that any Belgian bank will issue you with a credit or debit card. If you absolutely need a visa or mastercard (to buy stuff on the internet, etc.) then at least initially your only real option is to get a pre-paid card. Look here:
