UK Freeview

Question

I have a PVR Satellite Recorder that I paid a lot of money for about 5 years ago. It is now playing up and needs to be replaced.

I've been quoted €700 as a special discount price by my original supplier. As I've been told these boxes can be bought for a fraction of that cost I've had a go - and failed!

I was told to buy a Freeview box in the UK and use it here. But the problem is that I have 2 wires that come out of my wall and slip in to 'Tuner 1' and 'Tuner 2' - and the UK boxes don't seem to have these.

Any ideas would be very welcome! Thank you.

If the two wires you are mentioning about is from a satellite, you may need and if you wanna watch FTA channels, you may need a freeSAT receiver, say, Humax HDR-1000S

If you want to to record programmes, you want to buy it with harddisk

This is sold through many suppliers
