U2 to play Brussels in August

U2 have announced they will play the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on 1 August, as part of group's The Joshua Tree 2017 world tour.

The Irish rockers kick things off in North America on 12 May , and will make their way to Europe in early July.

Tickets for the Brussels gig will go on sale at 10.00 on 16 January via proximusgoformusic.be and ticketmaster.be.

The tour marks the 30th anniversary of the release of their iconic album, The Joshua Tree, produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno.

The European segment of the tour will be supported by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
