depending on how urgently you need it is to order the skybox in the UK as this is where it will be cheapest, maybe www.argos.co.uk. I did this a uk freesat box a few years ago, cos about EUR130 incl delivery to Brussels.

Then once you receive the box, go to a cheaper area of Antwerp, normally "ethnic". I went to the Gare du Nord area in Bxl, mostly Turkish/Arab, and bought a dish + "lnb" (lnb is the little bobox which receives the concentrated signals bounced off the dish) which in turn transmits the signal via cabling to the shybox. The dish cost EUR25, the LNB EUR25. I didn't have to buy cabling as it was already in the flat left by a previous occupant. But depending on length assume abour EUR2 - 3 per metre.

Now that I had all the harware, I found an satellite system installer on the web, and he came round an did the rest for about EUR200. Might sound alot, but of you opt for freesat instead of sky (sky is only really for sports and paying channels) you will stop paying anything for TV.

I have helped a friend install a system completely, but this was on a huge open to the sky balcony, so we could use a floor stand for the dish. In my flat, it had to be wall mounted about three metres up. Also, if you do everthing your self you need to also buy a sort of satellite signal compass, so you can tell which way to point the sat before making the final tweaks. And even with one of those, when we did it" it took us about 3 hours to finally get a strong and constant signal (altho this may have had somethng to do with beer)

sorry, bit of a long post and I didn't re-read. What I meant was that the installer took about 1 hour and charged EUR50. So total cost was about EUR230. And about two weeks from start to finish.

I don't like Arab or Turkish plumbers or technicians ( illegal invoice, no insurance, bad job, etc ).
I need a Belgian ( white ) supplier / technician in antwerp and I want a 2 year Belgian guarantee.
My friends recommend "Alpha Hifi Video". Will call them now.
