Trees cut down!
Not sure about why but the commune have in the past removed diseased trees and replaced them with much smaller versions on some roads there I am pretty sure they wouldn't just be cutting them down for no reason because a lot of trees are protected in that area
They are building a bike lane. the trees will be replanted I presume.
A lot of the trees are sick - especially the horse chestnuts. Sadly, when they replanted last time they put in more of the same, which have also become sick. Time to plant different species.
