tenant questions

Question

We moved out of our previous house (rental). When we moved in several year ago, the previous tenant sold us her curtains which we used and now we wanted to sell them to the next renter. However, the next renter declined, so we arranged for them to be taken out.

Now, the agent is telling us that we are responsible for the damage/holes left from the curtains. But it is clearly stated on our entry-protocol that the curtains were installed by the previous renter.

Are we really responsible to fix something installed by the previous tenant?

J

None of the agent's business. It's between you and the landlord.
