17:02 20/07/2015

Several central districts will be closed to traffic on Tuesday due to the Belgian national holiday and parade, including Place Poelaert, the Sablon, Rue de la Loi and Rue Belliard, reports brusselnieuws.be.

In addition, the neighbourhoods around the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, Rue de la Régence, Place du Trône and Schuman will not be accessible to traffic. Three tunnels will also close for the parade: Cinquantenaire, Loi and Reyers.

Police are urging visitors to use public transportation to get into and around Brussels.
