Singer Roger Waters immortalised in Brussels South station

18:45 01/06/2017

The lead singer of the British rock group Pink Floyd will get his own mural in Brussels South station, Bruzz reports. The Liège artist Noir Artist was commissioned to make the wall painting of Waters at the Place Horta entrance.

Sony Music Belgium asked Lucien Gilson, better known as Noir Artist, to complete the work on the occasion of Pink Floyd's first album in 25 years. Is This The Life We Really Want, scheduled for release on 2 June, has already been praised by international media for its political engagement.

Noir, who also made the mural of David Bowie in Galerie Toison d'Or, goes by the artist name Noir because he only works with black. He will be in Brussels South station this weekend to work on the Waters mural.
