Shop refuses to pay refund

Question

On 29 April 2017, I returned a shirt to a shop in Brussels and received a receipt for refund of EUR 71. They orally mentioned that the payment takes maximum 15 working days. I have contacted the shop several times. Last week they told me that payment is already done with no more details and thus they cannot pay me cash.
However, I have not yet received the refund on my bank account. Is there any advice on how to solve this issue? Is there a place to help me with this?

Unless The item was faulty they aren't obliged to refund, however
A few idea contact test achates also did you pay by visa? You may have some recourse. Can you prove you paid the shop that you were told
You woul Be refunded? If so write to the manager outlining your complaint
Maybe who ever you spoke with isn't knowledgable and just fobbed you off

If the shop say that they have already made a refund you can hardly claim that they are refusing to make one.
I presume that you paid cash - if you had used a credit or debit card, they would refund in the same way. All you can do is check with your bank and ask them if they can investigate why a payment that the payer says has been made is not in your account.

I think they did the paperwork (as they say it is already paid) but it did not come to your account yet. Did you ask them what they mean by this? I expect it should be in your account soon or you should see it as a plus in your next credit card bill-that is if you paid by credit card.
