Following Sunday evening's large-scale anti-terror action, the Belgian police carried out another series of actions on Monday morning, including seven house searches. Five people were arrested, and €26,000 confiscated during the raids, which took place in the vicinity of Brussels and Liège.

Anti-terror operations in the European capital over the last two days have led to the arrest of 21 people, all of whom are being interviewed by the police. A number of items confiscated during the searches are also currently under investigation, reports the federal prosecutor.
