Selah Sue’s US breakthrough on hold

12:12 09/10/2012

Belgian singer Selah Sue experienced a small setback in her bid to take on America: her Stateside dates have been cancelled. She was supposed to play in Washington tomorrow for the opening night of Emeli Sandé’s US tour, on which she is the support act, but the British sensation has pulled out for reasons as yet unknown. As a result, Selah Sue is missing out on four high-profile American dates, but she has already moved on, going to New York to play a handful of bar gigs. She should be back in America in the new year, by which time her album will be in the shops.
