Sattelite dish

I adjusted my sattellite dish because I was getting a poor reception - but now I don't have any reception at all :-(. Any chance I can get the signal back by continuing to manually adjust it or would I need to contact a fitter and what would be a reasonable price to pay? I think it should be a fairly easy thing to adjust a dish to point to a sattelite so don't really want to pay an arm and a leg - perhaps somebody can recommend somebody honest and preferably english speaking
