Satellites and channels

For free channels in English, there is a list on the Freesat site:

But having said that, the only purely film channel worth watching is Film 4, and even that is not in high definition. The ones like Movies4Men and True Movies are not worth bothering with. All the other channels show a lot of movies too.

For subscriptions, you have Sky, but I've never been interested in paying for it, so I don't know if it's possible without a UK address.

There are other non-satellite options as well,if you're prepared to pay extra.
