Salary advice
I am evaluating a job offer from a company in Gent, Belgium. I have been offered 3000 euro/month plus commuting allowance, insurance and healthcare.
If I accept the offer I will be moving there with my wife and our 3-year old daughter. It would be great if somebody can help me with the following:
1) how much tax do I have to pay on gross salary of 3000 euro and what will be my net salary?
2) What is the average rent for a 2-bedroom apartment/house (decent not lavish) in Gent?
3) Can I hope to save some money?
4) what are the average utility (gas, electricity, internet, phone) costs?
I do understand costs vary depending on one's lifestyle and spending habits and it may be difficult to put everything in numbers. so, any ballpark estimate or numbers based on your own experiences would be fine.
