Ryanair temporarily shifts all flights to Charleroi

13:33 29/03/2016

As Brussels Airport remains closed due to last week's terror attacks, Ryanair has announced that all of its flights scheduled to operate to/from the national airport will instead operate to/from Brussels Charleroi at least through Friday, 1 April.

The Irish low-cost airline is requesting that passengers come to the airport in Charleroi a minimum of three hours in advance of their flight, allowing extra time for extensive security checks. Ryanair passengers are permitted to use their original Brussels Airport boarding passes for the redirected flights.

Brussels Airport hopes to re-open on Wednesday, at about one-fifth of its normal capacity, operating European flights within the Schengen area and flights to Africa.
