Rental Guarantee money blocked

Question

Hi ,

My landlord from my old apartment seems to be avoiding signing the doc which will give me back the blocked Rental Guarantee money.

AS per the expert final report i need to pay him approx 520 /- for all the small maintenance related stuff in the house.

I wanted to negotiate with him the same as i am not willing to pay 520 /- .

Whenever i call him he politely says he is busy and i should call him some other time.

any other options i have apart from paying 520 /-  ?

is there a time limit after which it really becomes mandatory that he does sign my rental guarantee release doc ?

I can wait for another 3 years till he signs , but then it is not beneficial for both of us.

Well if you owe him €520 from the expertise, and don't want to pay, and he doesn't want to negotiate, then you don't have many options.  Personally, I would pay up.  The final expertise is basically a binding agreement, so the landlord does have the law on his side.  For next time, you should consider having your own expert, and also consider doing some of the small repairs etc, BEFORE the expert report.
