Public vote reveals Brussels' best chip stand
For the best fries in Brussels, you'll need to head north of the city centre to the municipality of Neder-over-Heembeek, according to a new poll.
Every winter, RTBF listeners and viewers of BX1 television channel are asked to vote for the best chip stand in the Brussels region - and after three weeks of voting, the 2017 results have just come out.
Coming top for a second year running with 41% of the vote was Chez Jef, who has been selling chips on the Place Peter Benoît in Neder-over-Heembeek for the past 30 years. "This isn't a touristy place," Jef told RTBF. "It's more like a family chip shop."
In second place was Maison Antoine on Place Jourdan in Etterbeek, which is operating out of temporary accommodation while the square undergoes a major redesign. Frit'Flagey came third.

Nonsense, The best frites stand is the one on the Place Saint-Josse.
Dear Bulletin
please note that Neder-over-Heembeek is not a municipality. It is a sub-division of Stad Brussel.
Therefore, no-one needs to head north of Stad Brussel or Brussel Hoofdstedelijk Geweest, NOH is part of Stad Brussel.
RHarris next time vote in the poll. I guess also in teqlity the audience is a certain type of people if its just from one radio station
