Pottery materials

I'm starting a small pottery studio, and I would like to know where I could find secondhand materials, like a kiln, hand tools, a pottery wheel, ... Also second hand books on pottery and ceramics. I have taken classes in South Africa, and they obviously could not give me any tips on where to find the stuff here :) Thanks for any advice!
