Non-payment of syndic charges

Question

I have a nine year lease with fix monthly charges. I have regularly paid both rent and charges to the owner directly by bank transfer (all recorded), however I have now learnt that the owner has some pending charges with the syndic and the latter will be taking up the matter with a lawyer. However I would appreciate to know whether the syndic has the right to withhold services (eg. cut water and heating, use of elevator etc) for the apartment itself which I am presently occupying if the owner fails to pay or the issue escalates to a court case etc. thanks for any advice

I think I would personally write in a recorded letter to both, stating that you are aware they have a dispute.
State that you are not involved in this dispute, that you have paid your bills in good faith in accordance with your contract and have proof of this fact.
Say that you expect them to sort out the I matter between themselves quickly and with with no problems caused to you in the interim.
I'm sure if the syndi wants to cut your services they must have the obligation to inform you of that fact before hand. If you have proof you contacted them already and explained they need to deal with the owner I think it's a good thing to have in writing.
