The international networking club presents its new season of speakers on Monday

Brussels professional club Full Circle launches its new season on Monday, 21 September, with a taster of the programme to come. The gathering at the Potemkine Bar on Monday evening presents five surprise speakers. Accompanied by drinks and canapés, it is open to everyone.

Serving up short talks are Australian best-selling novelist Brooke Davis, rising Belgian fashion designer Gioia Seghers, Belgian visual artist and NASA crew member Angelo Vermeulen, Africa Museum anthropologist Bambi Ceuppens and film and exhibition maker Terenja Van Dijk.

Full Circle previews its third season, following a successful second programme that included journalist and campaigner Mariella Frostrup (pictured), food waste activist Tristram Stuart and travel photographer Jimmy Nelson. The 2015/16 season promises to be equally stimulating with a scientist, pianist, economist, museum curator, conductor, management guru and top international chef all lined up to spark conversation and debate.

The members-only club occupies an original place in the capital’s networking scene. Hosting talking dinners, lunch and aperitif talks, masterclasses and other events, it brings together around 200 members of varying nationalities. “The common thread is that they are all people who are interested in ideas and want to communicate,” says co-founder Louise Hilditch. “We are about good ideas and creating relationships and we work hard to make our events open and friendly,” she adds.

There are usually two events a month. While Full Circle is looking for a permanent place to host some of its events, venues vary from exhibition spaces, art galleries, restaurants and unusual locations. They are all in the centre of Brussels, adding to the surprise nature of the evening in which you never know who you will meet and which direction the conversation and debate will take.

Registration is required. Tickets available here.

Full Circle’s full annual membership is €300, event prices vary; there are various membership options for young professionals and interns. Non-members can attend a couple of events before deciding to join.
