hi =) I live between Brussels and Cambridge. The cheapest way would probably be as Simon 'the man with a van' said. If you hire a van- use the Eurotunnel cheap if you do a day return but don't use the return portion. Two hours drive at the most to Calais, half an hour on the train with the van then two hours at the most to drive to Cambridge. This way you can transport you and your stuff in one hit =).
