I have recently changed my Internet provider and upon setting up the new wifi router had no problems connecting iPad, laptop, phone etc however my desktop (HP, running vista) only connects to the router but not from there to the Internet, any ideas how to resolve this problem?

If your Desktop is connected to your router WiFi then just verify the security key of your router, if you have entered the right key on your desktop and if it is connected via RJ45 Network cable then first of all, check the IP address in Network, if the ip address and DNS are fixed then just change them and use IP and DNS automatic. Also check in your router that the cable connected to your desktop is plugged in LAN ports instead of WLAN.
