Manneken Pis runs dry for International Happiness Day

19:49 20/03/2016

Brussels' famous statue of a peeing boy, Manneken Pis on Sunday took a break from 'peeing' on the occasion of International Happiness Day, an initiative of the United Nations. The theme of this fourth International Happiness Day is the environment.

"We can all do our part to fight climate change and its devastating and irreversible impact on our planet," says the UN's Pierre Harzé, writes Brusselnieuws. “Conserving water also helps to contribute to a greener planet, and that's why Manneken Pis is setting a good example.”
