LONDON TRIP for school
Dear all, I work for a school and want to take my stds to London to see Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde which is playing at the Ambassador's theater. Questions
1) has anyone seen this play? opinions?
2) do you know any hostel or cheap hotel for one night only?
3) can you recommend a London city tour?

1) It only came out two weeks ago! There can't be many people living in Belgium who've seen it.
2) & 3) shouldn't you be asking this to a specialist travel agency that deals with school trips? In my experience, schools always have to buy these types of trips through an agency so that they have all the correct liability insurance as they have the children in their care.
If YOU have been asked to organise it, YOU need appropriate liability insurance - and YOU need to ensure that the school makes appropriate arrangements too. There are very good reasons why a specialist agency is normally used.
Also to be clear if your with in certain communes and schools you may need permissions from the local authorities in the sign of printed letters to travel with other people's children. The bigger international school sometimes do trips away but they are usually planned well in advance because costs are high. My guess is getting enough seats and a cheap place to stay may make it too expensive. Could you do a day trip and see an afternoon performance?
Also as far as tours a great way to see the sights in on the aquatic bus a short tour and sailing down the river the kids might think it's neat you don't say their age but I'm thinking teens given the material your wanted to watch. Make your tour relevant to what you teach if English maybe visit the British library or something
