Living in Neder-Over-Heembeek

Question

We want to buy a house not too far from the number 7 tram line and there seemed to be some we can afford in Neder-Over-Heembeek. Can anyone tell me what it is like to live there? Is it safe? Are the local schools good?

R.Harris

It's like living in a village. But if you really want an affordable house and even more of a village atmosphere, try Haren.

Hello World,

Well ! I will say you are the most lucky persons in the world !
Not hazardous as you could probably imagine your message has been catched here and shared by (me) an admin of one of the most active community in the north of Brussels (Neder-Over-Heembeek).
We are a big Facebook community Group called "1120 Neder-Over-Heembeek" and I was profoundly moved by your question and as a respectful community we will be pleased to answer your questions.

Here is a first answer from a former resident in Neder-Over-Heembeek called Annick Matterne Devos (my friend also).

if you want to "Living en Ville" Neder is the place to be.
Good schools, nice and helpfull people and loads of fun things to do in the community.
The best way to get acquainted with our "village" is to come visit us on the last weekend of august for the Dolle Dorpsdagen http://www.heembeekmutsaard.be/

By the way your are also pleased to join our FB community, even if you are not already a NOH resident :-D

He's not the type to think, unless it's about which leg you need to start with when you goose step.
