Lawyer, employment law

Question

I worked in a Belgian French-speaking Catholic school for 6 months and have not been paid. Does anyone know a lawyer who can help me with this?

What does your contract say?

Joining a union would be much cheaper than approaching a lawyer.

Where exactly do you live?
You should look up free legal advice services, but if you say where you live, I could post them here.

Dear opera fan,
I have heard the issue before. What teaching degree do you have? From which country? Have you enquired about why you have not yet been paid?

I've heard of a teacher working at Leonie Waha in Liege not being paid due to difficulties in the French Commuity accepting the teaching qualifications of a teacher joining their immersion programme.

I would go on first and third Wednesday afternoon 13.30 to CPAS office first floor of the Joli-Bois community centre where you queue for "premiere ligne aide juridique". Get there early and allow several hours.
