Is it possible to rent a car without a credit card in Brussels?

Question

Looking to rent a car for a trip to Amsterdam. Don’t have a credit card, only ING Maestro debit card. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Edi

Nowadays there are very strict rules about renting cars. Credit card is a must and must be issued to you as driver and not to anybody else.
The only option is if you can rent a car from a relative/friend.You may take bus/train to Amsterdam there are plenty and bus especially is very cheap.
Companies do not want to risk renting a car to you without a valid credit card. Lets take an example if you are caught speeding or wrong/failed to pay for parking how are they going to recuperate the money from you when you have returned the car and you are gone. Usually fines take more than a month to arrive so they need your credit card to charge for that and/or any damaged that you may have caused to the car or missing fuel level

Try DOCKX Rental company. https://www.dockx.be/en/
Website: https://www.dockx.be/en/how-to-rent/
says you can pay the deposit in cash, by Bancontact or by credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
For certain categories of rental vehicles, they only accept credit card. The credit card holder must be present when you collect the vehicle.
