Hi Everyone!! We arrived a couple of months ago. I have a job but my husband is looking. He is an IT worker, he used to work at IBM in Argentina and he also worked for Kimberly Clark and Citibank
If you happen to know of a current search or if you need an IT person at your company, I'll be happy to send you his details
Thanks in advance!!!

IT is a ridiculously vague description - it covers 100s of disciplines.

Look for suitable job/skills matches on www.stepstone.be and www.monster.be. That will put you in touch with recruitment agencies with vacancies.

If he's good, be prepared to go freelance.

if you are both from argentina it might be quite difficult for him to get a working permit. under which conditions you are working in the country? that might determine if he is entitled to work here or not.

although in the IT sector there are shortages of some profiles and that might change the picture.

very far fetched but: any chance of requesting a european nationality based on your origins (i.e.: italians via your granparents - that's rather common for argentinians and would alllow to both work here without permits)

I'm italian, he has a permit to work in Belgium. He is a DBAdmin, but has covered other positions in the past

If you are Italian then he definitely does not need any working permit (it might also help quoting it in the CV so it doesn't get rejected).

on top of the websites above he can also look at https://www.jobserve.com/be/en/find-jobs-in-belgium/
more related to IT Jobs

it is also very good having a fresh and polished LinkedIn profile, recruitment agencies regularly browse them if they look for candidates.

Think also in spontaneous application at major IT companies present in Brussels or outskirt (in Diegem area there are several)

Perhaps it is not a big deal to find any job or gig to work. IT workers are easily hired and payed on the web working on freelance projects. Most of the freelancers are making great money online as of me, working as a freelance graphics and logo design expert in dubai and make good better than any job.
