how long police take time ?

Question

hello, i am new to brussels. i went to forest commune for registration and was told that police will come soon to verify address. its been almost 2 months now and police have not come. my husband is non eea national so how long he has to wait to get NI number so that he can start to work?

I don't believe it is necessary for them to come into your house. I believe if you are not at home when they visit they will leave a note in your letterbox telling you to go meet with them.

At least that's what happened for me. Maybe go pay them visit.
