House sale

Question

I am selling my house as a result of arelocation back to the UK.

We have advertised it ourselves but havent sold it yet - we are now thinking of listing it with an agent.

Slightly nervous though as when we were originally house hunting I remember how useless some are at actually showing people round and following up.

Any good recommendations for an 'active' agent that you have worked with?

Thanks!

Proactive and communicative, which was useful for me as I was selling my house while living in Ireland. Agent's name - Tom Mestadgh.
I would not recommend Century 21 as they lost my house keys and didn't inform me for 2 weeks, totally overpriced the house and were as you say in your post, useless at finding perspective buyers to show around. Good luck.
