The summer festival season continues with a weekend of concerts and family-friendly entertainment at Namur’s historic citadel on 26 & 27 August.
The Ancienne Belgique-curated midday concerts in the Royal Park known as Boterhammen in het Park are back and feature a different artist every day performing in the lovely bandstand in the park.
It’s nicknamed the ardent city in honour of its fierce independent spirit. For 800 years, the once industrial powerhouse of Belgium was a separate principality, ruled by a prince-bishop until the end of the 18th century.
