Groupon
I had bought a groupon coupon to buy a phone cover online. and the coupon didn't work when I tried to make a purchase online because the webpage was taken down for some reason. I contacted groupon a week back via email but there is no reply so far. and groupon contact phone number doesn't seem to work.
anybody having similar experinces with groupon ? any idea how to get the money back from groupon as they haven't delivered anything except for a pdf file with voucher code ? or it's a scam and its not worth following-up !
We had a similar experience. We got some massages via groupon but when we called the place, they told us that there wouldn't be any available spots til sept. This is back in july.
We tried to get our money back with the credit card, but credit card denied the request. So now we have appts for massages in oct. :)
What happens is that too many people get the offer and then the business can't handle the incoming traffic of customers.
If you paid with a credit card, maybe you have better luck than us fighting the charge. Otherwise, keep on trying to see if the site comes back online. You won't be able to get the money back via groupon.
Lesson learned our lesson. No more groupon for us here in belgium.
