Frit Flagey voted Brussels' best chip stand

Frit Flagey was voted the best fritkot (chip stand) in Brussels during this year's Fritomètre, an annual survey conducted by RTBF and Télé Bruxelles. Nearly 9,500 people took the online suvey to vote for their favourite fritkot in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Last year's winner, Maison Antoine on Place Jourdan in Etterbeek, won a silver medal, writes brusselnieuws.be. This year, the chip shop on Place Flagey came out the favourite, with 33% of the votes. Maison Antoine came in second, with 20%.

Fritkot Le Tram on Place Andrée Payfa in Watermael-Boitsfort received 14% of the votes, good for third place.

They are all wrong; the best are at the Place St-Josse and the best sauce there is Chilada.
Maison Antoine doesn't deserve to be on the list.

It does make me laugh when the Belgians have a go at the British for bad food. The people lining up ten deep to get their cholesterol there are almost all Belgians and this crap from these places contributes to Belgians having one of the poorest diets in the WORLD. Google it and see for yourself.
