Surf on this website: http://www.doingbusiness.org/data/exploreeconomies/belgium/starting-a-bu...

General rule: at least one third for the tax man, one third for social benefits (medical\sickness insurance) and one third profit.

Consult an accountant in Belgium.

Having started and sold profitable businesses twice in Belgium and studied many more opportunities I find the bizplan pro software (http://www.paloalto.com/) an invaluable tool for seeing whether a business will work or not. Local variants can be inputted and cannot be determined as simply as "at least one third for the tax man, one third for social benefits (medical\sickness insurance) and one third profit" as every business is different. Doing a bizplan on the paloalto software and then having a lengthy consultation with a business mentor or Accountant to analyze it is the best way to go, and will quickly tell you whether to bother or not.
