Facebook visited 4.3 million times a day in Belgium

A Belgian Facebook employee recently used Twitter to share some interesting figures on how Belgians use the social network, including one figure which shows that as many as 4.3 million Belgians visit Facebook every day, and most of them via a mobile device.

More than 3.2 million Belgians visit Facebook daily through their mobile phone or tablet, according to Facebook employee Bart Van de Vel, who shared this and several other notable statistics via his Twitter account. Van de Vel’s Belgium Country Snapshot Q1 2015 gives the latest updates on Facebook use in Belgium.

Of the 1.44 billion people worldwide who log in to Facebook each month, 64% of them visit the site every day. In Belgium, 5.5 million people log in to Facebook each month, and 78% of them every day. On average, avid Facebook users check the social media as many as 14 times a day via their mobile device.

In Belgium, the majority of Facebook users are women (51.8%).
