Etat des lieux question

Question

We are having our etat des lieux this weekend.

We have cleaned, repaired, repainted everything we could. However, one of the rooms is a terrible shade of green - and it's an uneven colour, as the owner already painted it on 2 different colored bases, not very well.

Our etat des lieux mentions that the paintjob is not great (it wasn't newly painted when we moved in). The paint have chipped off in a couple of places due to the furniture tuoching it (bad quality!!!!). We have done everything to try to find an exact match, but it's impossible.

What is best to do - repaint with a somewhat ok, though not perfect match, or leave it for the owner (it was not new paint, already with several problems when we moved in).

Also, we have scratched one quickstep tile (not too apparent, but visible) and the kitchen counter, which is just wood with a bit of finish has some stains (at the time we told the owner that it's not a proper kitchen counter surface, then he said he'd sand it). Now last we spoke to him he told us he wants us to sand it. We're not comfortable touching it, as we don't think it's going to look good.

The owner doesn't want to have an expert, to save money (we have th vibe he wants money from us).

What do you think would be a reasonable offer for these two minor mistakes, also taking into consideration that we are leaving him lots of hooks and cabinets we've attached ourselves, we have completely repainted one room, which wasn't done at the time and we're returning the house ahead of schedule (at his request).

Maybe I'm paranoid, but had some bad experience before. I'd appreciate any advice.

if teh woner hasn't got an expert, than that is possible as experts will always charge alot AND will always find some troubles as of cours ethey always good friends of the owners! so it shhiuld be okay to negotiate any positive deal! don't forget that the woner cannot get your guarantee without your approval, so yo always have some leverage!
