Go to a generalist and ask for a referral. The teaching hospitals are going to be full of doctors who speaking some English.

You can call Cliniques St Luc and try to make an appt with Dr. Jamar (02 764 18 12). It ususally takes a long time, but you might be lucky to get an appt soon. He's great and he speaks English.

Thank you. I've just seen my GP and she suggested 2 centres, but I was looking for a specific doctor. From my experience - it makes a difference. St. Luc is not far from my home, so I appreciate the suggestion

You may not get so much of a choice. Our child is being treated at Cliniques St Luc at the moment. We have seen 3 doctors in 6 appointments, all the doctors are quite competent so far, I'm just happy to be seen and treated. Don't expect good customer service, you may receive typical rudeness / indifference that appears endemic here.

I'd just phone the hospital, saying you have been referred there by doctor X. The problem with personal recommendations is that they are personal!

Well, I'm used to doctors' rudeness/ I-know-better attitude because it omnipresent among doctors in my home country. What I need is a single scan with a printout. Thank you!

I had a thyroid scan done at the Clinique parc Leopold - the one on Rue Froissart. If I remember, they did the scan and sent the results to my doctor.
