Anyone who can suggest where to take (private) courses in web development (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Indesign)in English, in Brussels? Any recommendations or suggestions are most welcome.
Many thanks.

Do you need to do an official course with certification or do you just need to learn the skill?

Are you interested in web design or in web development? The tools you mention are for the design side: the first two for the web, the third mainly for print material. Web development is more the coding / programming side. In both cases have a look here:

Thanks for your replies. I am minly interested in web design (Dreamweave & photoshop. Indesign wld be good as well) and I've had a look at superwebdesign before but it seems only beeing offered to companies. So as a private person - where is it possible to take courses? I could also imagine a private teacher. Thanks.

Surf on www.Youtube.com clips for
Dreamweaver CS5 Tutorial For Beginners
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQXUGGZFvhA

I watched most of them, made some notes and then downloaded the free Dreamweaver trial version and had a go; afterwards I went to Belgian government evening classes to gain a more indepth knowledge.

Course was great and not very expensive. My Dreamweaver qualification has been very useful.

I took my exams with very little knowledge of the Dutch language.

Practical exam - making a website with some pages, scrolling text, flashing text, music and images and java applets things that appear on website pages.

Dreamweaver theory exam - I made a very easy to follow flow chart and a small amount of Dutch text.

I made a few Dutch spelling mistakes, but the examiners understood my easy to follow flow chart.

Computer class was held in Dutch but the Dreamweaver programme was in American English.

During my theory written exam many people wrote 25 or more pages and mine was only one page, but very easy and clear to follow in any language.

No books or notes were given. It was a challenging and creative achievement.

Just be precise and go slowly. Loading your website is best to do this during the very late hours and it is time consuming.

Bear in mind the end user who clicks open your website. If it is too slow to open the website page then people will just close the website.

Some schools give you a free student ONLY version of Dreamweaver, so don't use it for professional use. Fines are very big in Belgium - at least €50,000 + jail sentence.

Good luck!
