I heard that this week is a carnival week. Is there any places in Brussels or any other cities where I could take my 2.5 years old boy for fun (i.e. circus, etc)? Thanks a lot!

You're a bit late for the big events which were in Aalst and Binche for example.

There is a Carnaval procession through Kraainem this saturday 25th.

.
Then there are events at the African museum this Sunday 26th.

Aalst isn't really all that suitable for children anyway, I'd say. Binche is a bit better.

Anyway, there's also a carnival parade this Sunday (26th) in the Marolles.

I haven't been before, so I don't know what it's like.
