Electricity Suppliers
Hello,
Any recommendation for electricity supplier for a two people apartment in Leuven? We would like to pay bill amount monthly may be 50euro-100euro;
We are going to rent a 50-meter square apartment. Things that will have to consume electricity are, ceramic hob, small fridge, washing machine, electric heating Samsung airco, boiler and lights. Could anybody suggest?

The main factor influencing price is your consumption.
The problem with this kind of question is that for everyone who will say that ABC suppliers are excellent, there will be someone who will say that they have had nothing but problems with ABC.
I've been with Electrabel - now owned by Engie - for over 20 years and have been perfectly happy with them.
My home is at least 4 times the size of your apartment and it is occupied more-or-less 24/7 as I am retired.
I do not have electric heating or airco and I am careful with my consumption.
My monthly bill is €51.00.
I'm sure that your biggest consumption will be for electric heating but you should be able to get under €100.00. Be sure to check your meter regularly so that you can see whether you need to be finding ways to economise.
We use Lampiris (not sure if it's available in Leuven). Two people; 110sq.mtrs. Electric consumption: €27 per month. We are careful with our consumption. Someone is home all day. Gas heat (also Lampiris).
Extra bonus: Lampiris uses green energy.
Snap! I've also been with Engie for almost 3 decades. I'm very conservative with my electricity consumption. I use LED lighting (comes with 5 year guarantee (purchased 5 meter LED strip from France (includes 2 year guarantee or money back); only once a day open the fridge/freezer, boil jug kettle/coffee machine (store hot drinks in a thermos flask).
There is a Flemish website to compare energy prices. It also gives you info about the ongoing promos you can get.
