Unless you get on very well indeed with your wife and can trust her down to the skin off your back, get a lawyer and get this sorted out properly.

If she has permission to the US for instance, she will be effectively able to ignore anything the courts have stipulated in Belgium, and you could never see your kids again (I know someone that happened to)
