Damp Problem

Question

Our nextdoor neighbour had no downpipe and as a result the access water from their building used to drain down on my back wall. I was unaware of this problem until my interior back wall started to show damp patches. Over a year has past and the entire wall is now black & crumbling. The damage is so bad it's effected the upstairs & cave... as well as our health, constantly have sore throats, blocked nose etc... as well as bouts of bronquitis! Not only can i no longer use my bathroom, but the bedroom is now damp and the stench is spreading and damaging floors & furniture.

I've tried to address this with my neighbour and his syndicate. Both have chosen to ignore me and my syndicate. My syndicate now also refuses to respond to my emails and telephone calls.

I am at a lost end. Please can anyone advise me what to do? Can i get a solicitor involved?
