Commuting to London

Question

Wondering it there is any way it could be feasible to maintain one's family base in Brussels while working in London? Does anyone do this? What is your commuting pattern if so? Any advice?

Working hours may be flexible and one or more overnights per week in London possible.

It mainly depends if you have children. I had to do that in Feb/ March. I was leaving on Monday morning with the first Eurostar and had an arrangement with my employer to work from home on Friday so I was taking the last train on Thursday night. It works, but the children will not see their mother 4 nights a week. My children are still very so that situation was not sustainable. But if yours are older and understand, why not.
