The one I used was 7 euros and it was definitely correct! I didn't feel the need to use a second test 'just in case'. The only thing I remember was you can use it very soon after the missed period. It depends on what brands the chemist stocks so you might have to visit a couple. I don't even remember the brand I used. I just took the cheapest one. 10 euros is not bad considering you can use it on your own time rather than make a doctor's appointment and those expensive ones that are digital are quite unnecessary.
