cheap car insurance
I bought an old 1 litre 1976 classic car, its no high value machine, worth no more than -/+ 1500 euro.
Where can I get cheap insurance? Ethias always seemed expensive from previous cars insured with them. Classic insurance I believe has limitations, like I can't go beyond 25km outside Brussels?
It's a weekend, day trip vehicle, so I don't want to be spending big money on insurance. Any help or contact greatly appreciated! Thanks.
The 25km limit is if on an oldtimer plate (if on a standard plate there is not that restriction)
I have 2 cars 72 and 74 -- They are now on a classic policy via the RACB - one (with an O plate suffers teh restrictions - the other doesn't (but is restricted to within 250kms of Belgium's borders!)
Prior to this I had them both insured through a "normal insurer" on basic insurance - there was a restriction on teh 3.5litre of 7k kms per year - but no restriction on teh 2litre -- I was paying €20pm for each.
