I wish to change from Belgacom to Numericable, with as little fuss or interruption as possible. How do I go about this? In the UK you generally inform the new company and they take care of the change, is it similar here?
Thanks.

You need to send a registered letter to your current provider saying you wish to cancel the contract, typically giving one month's notice - but check with Belgacom first. I would avoid Numericable like the plague though.
